At “A Celebration of the Arts”, on August 4th,  international entertainer Ruben Celiberti sang, danced and played the piano.  He also gave a platform to up-and-coming artists at the Scientology Information Center in Downtown Clearwater.  60 guests filled the historic Clearwater Building lobby now home of the center.

Celiberti’s Childhood:

“My love for music began at the age of 3 when my father gave me a toy piano, said Italian-Argentinian Celiberti.  I would play the piano and my sister Patricia would dance and we’d put on a show.”

The Dreams of Artists:

This time, it was Samuel and Lavette Jones who performed while Celiberti played.  The teens are Patel Conservatory students.  Guest performer, saxophonist Alvin Bueno also played two songs with his soprano saxophone.

Adding to the multi-faceted event, guest Diego Iglesias, also from Argentina, spontaneously Celiberti for an impromptu performance.

“We are pleased to offer this facility for artists,” said Amber Skjelset, manager of the center.  Founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, said, ‘A culture is only as great as its dreams, and its dreams are dreamed by artists.’”
